Handmade incense (frankincense) from Mount Athos (Holy Monastery Iviron) in various aromas.

It is produced in the traditional way in the Holy Cell of St. Nicholas of the Holy Skete of St. John the Baptist.

Weight: ~ 40g.

Authentic monastic product made by Athonite monks and fathers.

The incense symbolizes the prayer and the offering of the faithful to God. When we burn incense we pray as follows: "Let my prayer be set forth as incense before thee; The lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice; hear me, O Lord." In the Orthodox Christian Church we burn frankincense as incense which is one of the three gifts offered by the Magi to Jesus Christ. Mount Athos incense is prepared by the monks with personal care and special reverence and stands out for its quality and unique aroma.
